The business activities of Recovery TAS are aligned to the following ten SDGs and guide all decision making, management, investment strategies and reporting.
Recovery owns and operates the Recovery Circular Hub encompassing the Glenorchy Tipshop, Australia’s longest trading reuse retail sales outlet located at the Jackson Street Waste Management Centre in Glenorchy, Tasmania.
The operation generates sales income by diverting products and materials from the waste stream through audited salvaging, drop offs, collection services and deconstruction.
Recovery invests 95% of all income back into the regional economy ensuring a truly resilient sustainable business model.
Recovery is committed to wealth generation by offering permanent award-based employment positions under the protection of Fair Work national employment standards.
